Comiket weekend is still ahead, but the wave after it is already booked. The Solo Leveling exhibition keeps running in Shibuya, Re:Zero’s first-ever anime exhibition opens at Shibuya BEAM on September 12, MAPPA turns 15 with a big show in Yurakucho, and Tokyo Game Show announced its longest run ever. Here is what I am planning around.
『俺だけレベルアップな件』展: Solo Leveling in the Flesh
This is Solo Leveling’s first immersive event in Japan; the Japanese title reads roughly as “the case of only me leveling up.” The space at Tokyu Plaza Shibuya tops 1,300 square meters and recreates the scenes fans know on sight: the Kartenon Temple and its giant stone statue, the Double Dungeon, and the Jeju Island raid, with life-size figures and video installations. Every visitor gets a personalized hunter’s license (ハンター証 (hanta-sho)) printed with their own name and photo, the souvenir everyone lines up for.

The venue is inside the Shibuya Fukuras tower, a minute from the Hachiko exit, so this fits a short Shibuya outing. The official site also has an English toggle 公式特設サイト, and the venue page carries the current notices 東急プラザ渋谷.
TVアニメ『Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活』展 (First Exhibition in Ten Years)
Re:Zero’s anime first aired in 2016, and this show, organized by KADOKAWA, is the franchise’s first exhibition ever. It runs at Shibuya BEAM, a five-minute walk from the station, covering all four seasons of story so far: photo spots and video recreations of famous moments, plus original drawings (原画 (genga)), storyboards (絵コンテ (e-konte)), and production settings previously unshown.

MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary at YURAKUCHO MUSEUM
MAPPA, the studio behind the Chainsaw Man Reze movie, Attack on Titan’s Final Season, and Jujutsu Kaisen, fills the new YURAKUCHO MUSEUM (in the Tokyo International Forum basement, next to Yurakucho Station) for about 80 days. The run comes in two halves with some exhibits rotating between them: first half is September 16 to October 25, second half is October 28 to December 7, with the venue closed October 26 and 27. A tour of other cities follows the Tokyo run.

The organizers note that some scenes show violence, so think twice before bringing children. The goods corner is ticket-only, so one person cannot shop while the others wait. Tokyo Game Show 2026: First-Ever Five Days
Tokyo Game Show, celebrating its 30th edition, runs September 17 (Thu) to 21 (Mon) at Makuhari Messe, the first five-day run in its history. September 17 and 18 are business days for the trade; the general public enters from September 19 through 21, with the closing Monday falling on Respect for the Aged Day, a national holiday. Official program streams run online alongside the show. Makuhari is about 40 minutes from central Tokyo by train, so plan a day trip.
General-public tickets are sold separately from the business days, with the on-sale schedule announced closer to the event. The weekend days will be the busiest; Monday is quieter. See the CESA press release for the details above.
